See the stories behind some of the key shirts in this collection below.

Mascot Shirt for Blackburn Rovers

This special shirt was worn by Ben at six years old, when he was selected to be a mascot for the Wigan Athletic vs Blackburn Rovers match in 2010. His memories of walking out onto the pitch with captain Chris Samba, are ones of excitement that he will never forget.

Alan Shearer’s 1994 Winning Championship Shirt

Andrew treasures this shirt he wore to Anfield on the final day of the 1995 Premier League season. This moment was historic for Blackburn fans as it marked their victory in the Premier League. For Andrew, the shirt symbolises witnessing history and stands as one of his proudest moments as a Blackburn supporter, holding immense sentimental value for being there on that memorable day in May.

El Hadji Diouf Match Worn Shirt

Andrew’s lifelong passion for Blackburn Rovers was inherited by his sons. Ben, at just five years old, attended his first away game on September 11, 2010, at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City.
After an exciting match, star player El Hadj Diouf, approached the family in the front row. Diouf removed his shirt, handed it to Ben with a smile, and Ben’s dad carefully stashed it inside his coat. This shirt not only commemorates Ben’s first away game but also a gift from a favourite player, making it a cherished keepsake to this day for both father and son.
